Originally from a sleepy market town in the east of England, I’ve been fortunate to have lived and worked in various capitals around the world, from London to Nairobi, Bangkok to Singapore – experiences that have given me a well-rounded global perspective.

A love of books sparked a desire to experience the world, a spark that's never left me. Whether it’s for work or for pleasure, I am happiest when meeting new people or discovering new places. And as my family constantly bemoan, I just have to know how something works, why someone does what they do, or what’s waiting around the next corner.

It’s why I studied anthropology at university, and why I love working in an industry that is all about uncovering and sharing stories. I believe that you should never stop learning. This belief, coupled with an outgoing personality and a flexible approach, has helped me rise to various challenges during my dynamic media career.

I’ve consistently demonstrated this outlook as an editor, writer, project manager and publisher with over 15 years of experience in print, broadcast and digital media for leading regional and global companies and publications. I have managed clients and creative teams to produce award-winning guides, magazines, books, videos, websites and other digital products.

While my work has largely focused on topics such as food, sports, nature, music and literature, I relish opportunities to tackle unfamiliar subjects and educate myself in the process. I'm passionate about producing impactful content across platforms, with a particular love for sustainable practices, indigenous communities, conservation projects and the preservation of the natural world.

I am excited about what tomorrow might bring and always keen to embark on the next adventure, whatever or wherever that may be.
